How can companies contribute in order to ensure
a healthy lifestyle for future generations?
The challenge proposed in the local edition of the GIM drew on the 2011 recommendation of the World Health Organization’s World Heath Summit which called for a general reduction in consumption and for healthy food to be not only an attractive, but also an economic norm. With that in mind, students were asked to adopt the role of professionals in order to deal with a challenge of global relevance, linked to this recommendation, which is childhood obesity. Students worked in one of two teams of 8 people and played the role of consultants working in teams to propose feasible solutions to the question, “how can companies contribute in order to ensure a healthy lifestyle for future generations?” that could be put into practice by a multinational food and drink company.
