Schedule and Deliverables

Team

The two academically and culturally diverse teams worked together over the course of eight weeks. Throughout this time, they were asked to submit two preliminary group deliverables before submitting their final report and presentation (see table 6). MSc and BBA students were also given individual deadlines given that, as aforementioned, the GIM was embedded in their final dissertation assignment.

Video Progress Report - What area has the team decided to focus on?
- What is the state of the art of the area the team has chosen?
- What ideas or suggestions do the team have regarding lines of actions?

The final group deliverable was a consultant report in which students were to consider the following questions:

Table 7. Academic Team of Professors
What objectives and initiatives will be most effective? - What is at risk for all parties involved?
- What are the possible objections? Identify the most common “reasons and rationalizations” for not taking action here?
- What levers (arguments, re-framing, etc.) can be used to respond to these “reasons and rationalizations”?
What specific action ought to be taken? What are the most persuasive arguments and effective plans of actions for achieving the aforementioned goal?
How should one collaborate with stakeholders?
How do they measure the varied potential costs and benefits of their actions?
How will they communicate and implement their action plan effectively, and enlist the needed supporters?

Along with their written report, students developed a presentation outlining their findings and proposals. This information was presented to representatives from multinational companies and NGOs in the food and drinks industry including Danone and the SHE Foundation, during the GIM’s closing session.
